old changi hospital.

well.. this shld be old news to many, but if you havent heard about it, allow me to tell you..

there are plans to convert old changi hospital into a spa resort.. yep. you heard right... spa resort!!! i quote, the area is planned "for a proposed spa and resort development, which will retain the rustic charm of the Changi area, and preserve the transquility and characteristic of the buildings".. and the big plan is to transform the Changi Point into a recreational coastal village..

oh my gosh. what is Premium Pacific Pte Ltd thinking.. cater to locals and foreigners who prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle of city life? at least not old changi hospital lah!! thats like the most haunted place in singapore man! eeks...

maybe if they can get more people to frequent the area.. then the eerie-ness will fade away? someone mentioned that the connotation invoked when old changi hospital is mentioned wil probably only fade away with this generation, when people forget the long history of the place which spans back to world war 2.. but isnt the supernatural a topic that interest people precisely because there is nary an explanation for it? maybe the stories will always be passed along... by word of mouth... generation to generation... through the years....

hahahaha.. so. who's up for a spa getaway once the place is completed? :p
