singapore fashion festival happens from 23 march to 1 april. can someone please explain to me why i have this strong desire to go?and its not just the triumph presents sense and sesuality thats on the 28 march leh! i mean... before i even knew that was one of the programmes, i already knew i wanted to be there at the festival! to go for as many of the shows as possible..
i was scrutinising the schedule, looking at which designer, which brand was taking part. seeing whaht caught my eye. my gosh. whats happening to me!?
i think it's DL's fault lor. for introducing me big time to the high flying world of fashion and designers.. i mean.. i bought a $300 bag and a $300 pair of shoes in the past two months! one in december and another january lah! (ok. those were the prices of the goods. but i got them at a discount. if not i wouldnt even consider kae?) and thats not counting the purchases ive made other than these two!
and since then, in my free time, ive been surfing around, looking at collections by marc jacobs, john galliano, mihara yasuhiro, neil barrett, yohji yamamoto, alexender mcqueen, karl lagerfield, domenico dolce, stefano gabbana... blah blah blah..i could really go on forever... sound foreign to you? (they should coz theyre definitely not local lah! hahahah...) they are all famous designers, many of the i was never interested in them.. til now... :)
nah. i shall stop asking why like its a bad thing. i dont mind. let my interest and obsession increase ten fold, hundred fold. fine with me. hahaha.. just dont let me want something that i cant have. coz then id be living a painful death.. lolx!!! joking lah. where got so serious...
this question suddenly popped into my head. am i becoming a metrosexual? was i a closet one in the first place? hahaha.. who cares! to conform to social norms was never what i wanted to be. bleah.. i am the mixture. the rojak. the ice blended..but without the ice.. haha..
